Ebola-Free Dallas Nurse Nina Pham Thanks God, Doctors...

Nina Pham, the nurse who contracted Ebola while treating a patient in Dallas, is now virus-free and will be discharged on Friday, National Institutes of Health officials confirmed.

Pham was the first person to contract Ebola within the U.S. She was infected with the virus while treating Thomas Eric Duncan, who later died from Ebola. Pham was eventually transferred to NIH's clinical center in Maryland.
Speaking at NIH on Friday, Pham said, "I feel fortunate and blessed to be standing here today. I would first and foremost like to thank God, my family, and friends."
