Fashola: I want to See Some of The Promises Before I Die

Babatunde Raji Fashola, Minister of power and housing of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, said he would make sure that all the promises made would be carried out before he dies.

In an interview with Channels television on Monday, Fashola vowed to tackle the problem of electricity in the country, saying he is a solution person and would soon implement solutions to electricity.
"I am a thinking person and I'm always looking for solutions to solutions. When I've found one solution, am not always convinced that it's the best solution, so even when am implementing it, I'm looking for ways to make it better," he said.
"Generally the promise of this country keeps me awake, I know that it is a country of so much promise. I want to see some of those promises before I die, I want to see sustainable, reliable electricity, I want to see more people get access to electricity," he further said.
Fashola,  said Nigeria is a beautiful place, adding that its his joy to see good roads in the country.
"I want to see more people pay mortgages for their own homes, I want to see roads in these country smoother, to be more efficient so that people will have more pleasant journey time, Nigeria is very beautiful place."
