Three people have been killed and more than 20 others injured in a crash involving two school buses in Knoxville, CBS affiliate WVLT reports.
It is unclear whether the fatalities involve children or adults.
There was no immediate word on what caused the crash or the exact condition of those who were injured.
According to Knox County Schools, the buses involved in the accident serve Chilhowee Intermediate School and Sunnyview Primary School, the station reported.
WVLT reports that some of the injured have been transported to UT Medical Center and others have been taken to East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
