LG integrates Windows 10 on a fridge, unveiled at IFA 2016


Going by Samsung unveiling a smart fridge attached with a giant 1080p touchscreen at CES earlier this year, LG is also aligned with such invention as it launches its own smart fridge at the on-going IFA exhibition in Berlin today. The only exception is that the LG smart fridge comes with Windows 10 while Samsung’s choice of built-in operating system is Tizen. What that simply implies is that users can start all types of Windows apps on the fridge including the likes of MS Paint, Xbox game.

The features of the LG smart fridge includes; a 29-inch luminous touchscreen. It’s quite radiant mere looking at it, added with a speedy usage rate. LG has its own customized Windows 10 apps which are basically designed for various purposes like sticking notes to the fridge, set a timer, includes recipes and healthy facts and information about meals, or possibly indicate your choice of a meal through the translucent display.
