Twitter Wants Users To Type Their Way To Heaven

Finally, it's a breath of fresh air: Twitter has officially removed the character limit from direct messages.

Twitter is phasing in the change across Android, iOS and web-based platforms from today, lasting over the next few weeks.

In June, Twitter affirms on a new character maximum which would be 10,000 characters, from the previous 140 characters.

Twitter has updated its apps for iOS, Android and Twitter for Mac (!) to allow long direct messages as well as TweetDeck and Twitter for Web.

The change is rolling out, in Twitter’s usual style, hence it's a gradual effect. It might be “a few weeks” until you see it!

This is a great relief to poet, writers of songs, novel sharing or sending of movie scripts over direct message and has been prevented by character limit in the past, can now feel fly like a fresh of breath air! Lol
