Google to launch two new smartphone, 4k Chromecast and Daydream VR headset on October 4th

Google is expected to announce two latest Pixel smartphones plus an upgraded 4k Chromecast slated to hold on October 4th specifically for the hardware-related event, according to Android Police reports. More so, the event will serve as an opportunity to display its Daydream VR device, with a comprehensive analysis on its Google Home – a little device speaker that is seen as a result compared to Amazon’s Echo.

However, the schedule and venue of the event are still unknown but information about Google’s planned products has been exposed, claimed Android Police.

The new Chromecast will be named Chromecast Plus or the Chromecast Ultra while the Google’s Daydream VR will be called Daydream View.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports ahead of the event about Google’s activities in recruiting and sponsoring YouTube stars for a couple of months.

Android Police reportedly claimed to have the official names of Google’s Nexus phone replacements – which is the Pixel, and the Pixel XL. It’s most likely both phones will be unveiled in details at the event on October 4th. While media reports on the Pixel reveals, the features will come with a 5-inch screen unlike the Pixel XL boasting of a 5.5-inch screen.

For the retail price and release dates are still unknown.
