She Leads Africa Accelerator Programme is Here, Register to Participate

This goes out to all the females! Are you a female who craves passion for the tech world? The tech and entrepreneurial world  is clearly for both genders and not basically meant for the men only. If you are among those who think in that direction, you will be surprise to see what women are doing in today’s tech-entrepreneurial world. To keep the light shining, there are now so many entrepreneurial platforms committed to helping smart and ambitious young African women live their best lives.

One of such platforms is She Leads Africa (SLA)! As the name implies, SLA is a community that helps young African women achieve their professional dreams. With engaging online content and pan-African events, She Leads Africa’s vision is to become the #1 destination for smart and ambitious young women.

As a women empowerment platform, She Leads Africa in partnership with GTBank and the Work in Progress! Alliance (Oxfam, Butterfly Works and VC4Africa), is organizing an Info Session & Business Model Canvas Workshop code named She Leads Africa Accelerator.

The SLA  Accelerator is a 3-month program designed to identify, support and fund the next generation of Nigeria’s brightest female entrepreneurs. At the accelerator programme, entrepreneurs will receive exclusive access and mentorship from some of Nigeria’s leading business personalities, they will have the opportunity to pitch their startup right in front of local and international investors and features in local and international media outlets.

There is always a price for hard work, the SLA Accelerator Demo Day will end with a single winner selected to go home with a whooping sum of N2Million investment from She Leads Africa Fund.

To help you attain this height, She Leads Africa in collaboration with VC4Africa will be hosting information sessions so that potential applicants can speak directly with the organizing team on how to submit a successful application, what the review committee will be looking for and what makes a high quality pitch deck.

VC4Africa will also be hosting two Business Model Canvas workshops for entrepreneurs looking to gain clarity on how to describe, design, and summarize their business model. This workshop will be useful for anyone looking for hands on tools to apply to their business model. You could be an enterprise founder, an aspiring entrepreneur or a business strategist.

This is an opportunity calling out for young African women to make a difference. Applications can be done here and will be ending on 31st May at 11:59pm Lagos time. Late submission will not be considered regardless of the circumstances. The workshops have limited seats so you must receive confirmation that you’ve been selected in order to attend.
