South Korean electronics giant - Samsung has unveiled it's Galaxy Note 7 smartphone. Well, that's not all, the company decided to introduce a refreshed version of the Gear VR headset. This time, Samsung have revealed some solid changes to the headset.
The VR headset now consists of swappable plugs that allow you to utilise either USB-C or Micro-USB Galaxy smartphones, with a clever system that lets the plugs be swapped out in a matter of seconds. Focusing on that aspect, the headset now operates on a USB-C port for "pass-through charging". What's more is that the headset also allows data transmission. This is definitely a new development and could pave the way for improvements in the VR industry.
