Cape Town — INFORMATION technology (it) leaders are encouraged at the success of the ongoing AfricaCom, the continent's biggest summit at the event ongoing in South Africa.
The annual event is holding at its traditional Cape Town International Conference Centre (CITCC) venue under the theme, "Transforming Africa's Digital Economy."
Among the highlights so far include visionary keynotes from Twitter's Katie Lampe who revealed essential tips on "Marketing in the Moment" and Facebook's Chris Daniels, who discussed and debated the role of social media in bringing internet to Africa.
Mobile Money, LTE Africa, Customer Experience Management, AfricaCast and Digital Music streams all kicked off.
