The aftermath of the explosions that shook Belgium on Tuesday morning, cartoonists have already shared images of solidarity on social media.
French cartoonist, Plantu posted the image in solidarity support to Belgium and France as against the terrorist attacks on both nations. French newspaper Le Monde also took to Instagram in the hours after multiple explosions hit the Belgian capital, sharing the same image.
"13 November — 22 March," reads the caption. "The tribute from Plantu."
Meanwhile, the image has been been retweeted over 9,000 times. The cartoon was also shared from Le Monde's Twitter account.

This is really beautiful. It is always wonderful to see how the world unites in these tragedies, but sad they have to in the first place.
ReplyDeleteIt is a sad tragedy, especially with innocent lives lost. Countries are one behind Belgium to condole with them and to help them in these trying times.
ReplyDeletet's not so surprising that this has gone viral, because this is the easiest e share to let the world know that there really is violence in this world.It's also a message that we will not surrender to terrorism
ReplyDeleteIt's sad that during the times we should be uniting as one nation are the times we start attacking each other. It's disheartening to hear about bombings, explosions, and killings from the world over. I can only pray for the victims and their loved ones.

ReplyDeleteTerrorism is a terrible thing that the world should seriously address. This is the scourge of this generation and should be stopped as soon as possible. It gives us pause, why do some people live for hate and destruction when PEACE is clearly the better alternative?

ReplyDeleteIt really peeves me when people intentionally do bad things to hurt people. It's really sad. That's a great graphic though. It perfectly portrays their emotions especially those that have gone through tragedies. Sure hope this stuff stops soon. My prayers go out for all the victims.

ReplyDeleteToo much violence and too many unhappiness around! This is definitely something we have to reflect. Why are there so many extremists? Why can't people live in peace? This is so saddening!
